The Situation
Four adult children living in different districts of Bangkok with a parent in declining health. No one had a complete picture of what household records existed, where they were held, or what would need to be located in an emergency.
How They Used the Programmes
Two of the siblings attended the Orientation together, then shared the checklist with the others. Three months later, two returned for the Cataloguing Workshop to put a proper system in place. The parent participated in parts of both sessions.
What Changed
The household now has a labelled folder system understood by all four siblings, with a shared digital index. One sibling manages updates. The family describes the process as something that reduced a source of ongoing low-level stress.

The Situation
A family business in its third generation, with five family members across two branches of the family now involved in operations. Decision-making processes were largely informal and not documented. A change in the health of the founding generation prompted the family to want a clearer framework.
How They Used the Programme
All five active family members attended both half-days of the Continuity programme. The facilitation materials were then used to structure three internal meetings over the following two months, with a non-family manager also present.
What Changed
Roles and responsibilities were documented for the first time. The family now has a written process record covering key operational decisions. One family member notes that the programme gave them language for conversations they had not known how to start.
A Widowed Professional, Preparing for the Future
All Three Programmes Across One Year
The Situation
A retired professional, recently widowed, who managed household records jointly with her late husband. She needed to understand what she now held, what categories mattered, and how to make it all findable for her two adult children when the time came.
How She Used the Programmes
She began with the Orientation to understand the categories, then attended the Cataloguing Workshop six months later. The following year she brought her son to a second Orientation so he understood the system too. She described the pacing as important — she was not ready to do everything at once.
What Changed
Her records are now catalogued and stored with a written guide for her children. Her son has a copy. She describes the experience as something she wishes she had done earlier, but notes that she needed to reach it in her own time.
